Uses of lavender

 Essential oil 


5 drops in a warm bath

Lavender flowers in a muslin bag tied to the tap soaking in the bath


Sleep Aid

A few drops of oil on a tissue or pillow to encourage sleep (insomnia)

A few drops on the wrists

A few drops on the temples to ease headaches and migraines

Massage: Use up to 10 drops in 20ml of carrier oil e.g. sweet almond oil



 Put on neat to take the itch out of insect bites.

Can be put on bruises and minor burns and sunburn

Use a hot Lavender compress to reduce inflammation


Lavender Bags

Hang in the wardrobe or in a draw with your socks and underwear for a refreshing scent
